The Board, Officers and colleagues at Cellphire, Inc., commemorate their colleague Dr. Arthur P. Bode (b. 1953, d. 2016). Eminent in the field of platelet research, and a joy with whom to work. A gentleman and a scholar, he will be sadly missed.

While at ECU, Dr. Bode was the Scientific Director of the Clinical Coagulation Laboratory and Director of the Platelet Research Laboratory as well as Director of the Core Facility in Flow Cytometry and Confocal Microscopy, and was a fellow of the American Heart Association and the Society in Clinical and Applied Thrombosis/Hemostasis.
